Tokyo Anime Fair Mascot design contest

The Tokyo International Anime Fair is held every year in Japan as a showcase of the year’s best upcoming titles as well as all the different anime companies’ best product lines. Each year a mascot design contest takes place to determine it’s official mascot for the year. Why is this important you may be asking? Well because this year, the contest is open to entries from all around the world!

All you have to do is submit one character to be the fair’s mascot and if chosen you will recieve a prize of 200,000 Japanese Yen (that’s around $2700 AUD)!

To apply simply head to [link] And remember the winner of the Madman National Cosplay Championship gets a trip for two to attend the 2010 Tokyo Anime Fair! Entries close June 30th 2009 so get designing!

Indeed! You seem to like all the good animes, not a big fan myself, just really fond of a select few. Bebop, & Excel Saga, both of which I saw you liked.

There's a lot I wish I could have included but I've run out of room! Cowboy bebop is one of the few animes I have never heard a person say the dislike it, It is one of the bests!

I think it's the music and the dubbing(Both in the voice acting and the synchronizing). They're both done so well, it's incredible.

Yeah I'm so waiting for Lost.. Hurley is my favorite!! Right now I'm watching season 2 of FRINGE (good show also).. I'm super excited for you, getting more ink.. I always look forward to it myself.. If your ever in Atlanta my boyfriend tattoos @ Holy Mother in Little Five Points.. you want something I can probably hook you up! Be sure to post the pictures of your new color work.. I'll be watching for it :D
